Facial, HydraFacial, or Something Deeper?
A facial is hands-on care. Your esthetician cleanses, exfoliates, extracts, massages and masks, choosing each step for your skin that day. It is the right choice for maintenance, relaxation, sensitive skin and a lasting everyday glow.
A HydraFacial ($199 or $375) uses a patented vortex-suction device to cleanse, extract and hydrate in one pass. It is ideal for congestion, blackheads and a fast, even glow before an event. You can also add HydraFacial extractions to any facial for $30.
For deeper concerns, such as acne scarring, fine lines, texture and stubborn marks, a facial maintains results but won’t remodel the skin. That is when we suggest microneedling or a Green Peel herbal peel, usually alongside a facial routine. Facials for Calgary Skin
Calgary is hard on skin. The air is dry for most of the year. Chinooks can swing the temperature by 20 degrees in a day, winter heating pulls moisture from the skin, and our altitude means stronger UV than many people expect. That is why so many of our clients’ skins feel tight in January and congested in July.
Fall and winter: focus on hydration and barrier repair: the Signature Custom Facial with a hydrojelly mask, or a monthly HydraFacial. Spring and summer: lighter cleansing and clarifying care, the LumiGlow for sweat-related breakouts, and daily SPF 30+. Our Calgary winter skin guide goes deeper.
Pregnant? Tell us when booking. We adapt your facial by leaving out retinoids, high-strength acids and microcurrent, so a Signature Express or Signature Custom Facial is usually the best fit. Check with your prenatal care provider first. Planning an event? Book 3 to 5 days before, so any redness from extractions has settled. Brides can follow our bridal skincare timeline.

How much does a facial cost in Calgary?

How often should I get a facial?

We recommend every 4 to 6 weeks for maintenance, aligned with your skin’s natural cell turnover cycle. Monthly facials keep your skin consistently clear, hydrated, and luminous. If you are addressing specific concerns like acne or hyperpigmentation, your esthetician may recommend every 2 weeks for corrective care until results stabilize.

What is the best facial for a first-timer?

The Signature Express Facial ($69, 30 minutes) is a gentle introduction: cleanse, exfoliation and hydration in half an hour. If you would like the full hour, the Signature Custom Facial ($110) adds a skin analysis, extractions, a mask and massage. Both leave you with a plan for your skin.
How long does a facial take?

Our facials take 30 to 75 minutes: Signature Express 30 minutes, LumiGlow Acne 45 minutes, Signature Custom 60 minutes, and Signature Sculpt & Lift 75 minutes. Allow about 10 extra minutes on your first visit for your skin consultation.
Is there any downtime after a facial?

Most facials have zero downtime. You can return to normal activities immediately. Mild redness from extractions typically fades within a few hours. We recommend SPF for 24 to 48 hours post-treatment.
Can I wear makeup after a facial?

We suggest letting your skin breathe for the rest of the day, or at least 6 hours, especially after extractions. If you need makeup for an event, use clean brushes and a light, non-comedogenic base. For an important event, book your facial 3 to 5 days before, so any extraction redness has settled and your glow is at its peak.
Can I get a facial if I have sensitive skin?

Absolutely. Every facial is fully customized. For sensitive skin or rosacea, we select calming, fragrance-free products and gentle techniques. Our Signature Custom Facial is especially loved by clients with reactive skin.
Can I get a facial while pregnant?

Often, yes, with changes. Tell us you are pregnant when booking. We adapt your facial by leaving out retinoids, high-strength acids and microcurrent, so a Signature Express or Signature Custom Facial is usually the best fit. We don’t recommend a HydraFacial until after delivery and breastfeeding. Please check with your prenatal care provider first, especially if your pregnancy is high-risk.
What is the difference between a HydraFacial and a regular facial?

A HydraFacial uses a patented vortex-suction device to cleanse, extract and hydrate in one pass, with little hands-on massage. What is the best facial for my age?

The best facial depends more on your skin concerns than your age, but here is a general guide. In your 20s, focus on deep cleansing, hydration, and prevention with our Express or Signature Custom Facial. In your 30s and beyond, a Signature Custom Facial with targeted serums, or the 90-minute HydraFacial Platinum with its sculpting lymphatic massage, keeps skin looking hydrated and lifted.
