Good to Know
Before Your Visit
Tell us first if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or any implanted electronic device, have epilepsy, or are being treated for cancer — we will leave out microcurrent and adapt your facial. If you have had injectables or filler in the last two weeks, let us know so we can adjust the massage.
On the day, come as you are; we remove makeup as part of the cleanse. Drink water beforehand, and allow a few extra minutes on your first visit for your skin consultation.
Afterwards, skip heavy makeup, saunas and intense workouts for the rest of the day, and wear sunscreen. The sculpted look is most noticeable over the next few days — so if it’s for an event, book two to five days before.
Results are cosmetic and temporary, and vary from person to person. The Sculpt & Lift is not a medical treatment and is not a substitute for injectables.

What is the Signature Sculpt & Lift Facial?

It is our 75-minute sculpting facial ($165). After a double cleanse and gentle exfoliation, your esthetician works through a deep sculpting facial massage with percussive therapy, then gentle microcurrent lifting along the jaw, cheeks and brow. A firming mask follows, with a hand and arm massage while it sets, then red LED light therapy and a cold-therapy finish. The goal is a visibly lifted, contoured, de-puffed look.
How much does the Sculpt & Lift Facial cost in Calgary?

The Signature Sculpt & Lift is $165 for 75 minutes at Lavish Beauty in NE Calgary. Our other Signature Facials start at $69. A $10 consultation is available and is credited toward your first treatment.
What does microcurrent do in a facial?
+
Microcurrent uses a very low-level electrical current delivered through gentle probes as they glide along the facial muscles. Clients typically feel a light tingle or nothing at all. In a facial it is used for a temporarily lifted, toned and more awake look. It is a cosmetic treatment, not a medical one, and results fade over days, which is why many clients book it regularly or before an event.
What is percussive therapy?

Percussive therapy is rapid, rhythmic pulsing massage. In the Sculpt & Lift it is used around the jaw, neck and shoulders to release tension from clenching, desk posture and screen time, and to boost circulation before the lifting steps. The pressure is adjusted to your comfort.
Does the Sculpt & Lift hurt? Is there downtime?

No downtime. Most clients find it deeply relaxing. You may notice a light tingle during the microcurrent step and some temporary pinkness afterwards, which settles quickly. You can return to your day straight away.
Who should not have microcurrent?

How long do the results last, and how often should I book?

The lifted, sculpted look is most noticeable in the first few days, which makes it a favourite 2 to 5 days before a wedding, photos or an event. For ongoing results, most clients book every 3 to 4 weeks. Results are cosmetic and vary from person to person.
Sculpt & Lift or HydraFacial: which should I choose?

Choose the Sculpt & Lift ($165) when you want a lifted, contoured look and tension release through massage. Choose a HydraFacial (from $199) when your priority is deep cleansing, extractions and hydration for congestion or dullness. Many clients alternate the two month to month.
Is it a needle-free alternative to injectables?

It is needle-free and has no injectables, but it is not a substitute for a medical injectable treatment. Think of it as a sculpting, lifting facial ritual with a temporary, natural-looking result.
