Highway 2, Then Around the East Side
From the Sheep River valley, the route starts on Northridge Drive, which carries Highway 2A through town, and joins Highway 2 northbound. Approaching the city, rather than following Deerfoot through its busiest central stretch, routing data takes Stoney Trail SE and follows the ring road up the east side of Calgary to Country Hills Blvd NE. From there, Cornerstone is a couple of minutes west.
That adds up to about 55 kilometres and 46 minutes (approx.) in free-flow conditions. Weekday rush hour, particularly on Highway 2 approaching the city in the morning, can push it past the hour. Mid-morning and early afternoon appointments tend to stay close to the estimate.

A Laser Series from 55 km Away
Laser hair reduction works in cycles: most people need 6 to 8 sessions, several weeks apart, because only hairs in their active growth phase respond to each treatment. For an Okotoks client that means planning six to eight round trips over most of a year. A few things make that easier:
- Consolidate areas. Full body is one appointment for 16 areas. If you only want a few, book them together: bikini ($85) and half arms ($120) take one visit.

How long is the drive from Okotoks to Lavish Beauty?

Why go around on Stoney Trail instead of straight up Deerfoot?

Because the clinic is at the north-east corner of Calgary, the ring road avoids the busiest stretches of Deerfoot through the middle of the city, including the Glenmore and Memorial interchanges. The distance is similar, but the timing is more predictable.
Is it worth driving from Okotoks for laser hair removal?

It depends on what you need. An hour and a half round trip, six to eight times, is a real commitment. Okotoks women who choose us usually want a women-exclusive clinic, a GentleMax Pro with a 1064nm Nd:YAG option for medium and deep skin, Sunday hours, or published prices. If a closer clinic suits you, that is a reasonable choice too.
