From the Howse Drive and Livingston Way area, go east on 144 Avenue NE and turn right on 11 Street NE to reach Stoney Trail NE. Stoney then carries you east and around the city's north-east corner for close to ten kilometres. Exit at Country Hills Boulevard NE and continue a short distance to Cornerstone Boulevard.
That is 15.6 km door to door, about 16 minutes in light traffic. Rush hour on the ring road can add several minutes.

Livingston is planned for about 30,000 residents when complete. It is named after Sam Livingston, one of Calgary's first settlers, and was billed at launch as the first Calgary community to require sprinklers in every home.
