Highway 564 or the Trans-Canada
There are two sensible routes from Strathmore, and both take roughly the same time.
The prairie route. Head west on the Trans-Canada, turn north on Highway 9, then west on Highway 564. Highway 564 is the rural extension of Country Hills Blvd, so once you cross Stoney Trail you are already on the road that leads to Cornerstone. This is the route routing data prefers: about 51 km and 41 minutes (approx.).
The divided-highway route. Stay on the Trans-Canada all the way to Stoney Trail, go north on the ring road, and exit at Country Hills Blvd NE. It is a little longer in distance but avoids two-lane rural highway, which many drivers prefer in snow or after dark.
