The fastest route takes you out to the ring road. Take Falconridge Drive NE to 68 Street NE, turn onto McKnight Boulevard NE heading east, and join Stoney Trail NE northbound. After about five kilometres, exit at Country Hills Boulevard NE and head west to Cornerstone Boulevard. That is about 11 km, roughly 13 minutes when traffic is light.

If you prefer city streets, Falconridge Boulevard straight north through Saddletowne to 60 Street NE is shorter in distance. Expect it to take a few minutes longer because of the traffic lights.

PCOS, hormones and realistic laser plans

Falconridge had about 10,300 residents in 2021, and it is one of the most varied communities we serve: large South Asian, Black and Filipino communities, and a notable share of residents born in Africa. That variety shows up in the treatment room as every combination of hair colour, texture and skin tone.

A common concern from Falconridge clients is hair on the chin, neck, chest or stomach linked to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Laser can reduce this hair considerably. Because hormones keep stimulating new follicles, the plan usually needs more sessions than average and some maintenance afterward. We would rather set that expectation up front. If you are on treatment with your doctor, keep going; laser works alongside it.

Price-wise, the neck is $30 a session, chin is $25, and chest or stomach are $100 each. If you want several areas, full body at $499 often works out lower.

The GentleMax Pro's Nd:YAG handles melanin-rich skin, the rooms are women-only, and we are open on Sundays.

How long does it take to drive from Falconridge?

+

About 13 minutes and 11 km via McKnight Boulevard NE and Stoney Trail NE to Country Hills Boulevard NE (approx., light traffic). Falconridge Boulevard north through Saddletowne is shorter but has more lights.

Does laser work for PCOS hair growth?

+

It can reduce PCOS-related hair significantly, but new hair may keep appearing while hormones are active. Plan on a longer series and occasional maintenance. We explain this in detail at your consultation.

Can you laser the neck and chin together?

+

Yes. They are commonly treated in the same appointment, and full face and neck combinations are available. Pricing is per area, per session, and listed on our pricing page.

Will new hair grow back after I finish my sessions?

+

Treated follicles stay reduced for the long term, but hormones can activate new ones over time, especially with PCOS, pregnancy or menopause. A short maintenance session once or twice a year usually keeps things smooth.
